Our mission is to promote personal growth, independence, social engagement, and dignity for individuals with special needs. We achieve this through compassionate care, educational activities, and community-based support services.

The people who volunteer at Welcome Home Day Center for People with Special Needs are the heart of our mission. They are compassionate, dedicated individuals who generously give their time, talents, and kindness to enrich the lives of those we serve. Our volunteers help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every participant is treated with dignity, respect, and care.
Who volunteers with us?
Our volunteers come from all walks of life, including caring community members, college and high school students, retired professionals, healthcare and human services professionals, church and civic organization members, family members and caregivers, and corporate volunteer groups. They assist with recreational activities, arts and crafts, educational programs, music, exercise, meal preparation, special events, and providing companionship.
